Couple die as car rams into tree

Nellore: Two people from Stonehousepet in Nellore city died in a road accident at Pellakur on Saturday. The car in which they were traveling hit a tree and wife and husband died on the spot. 

According to police, the duo who died in the accident were identified as Grandhi Nageswara Rao (55) and his wife Sulochanamma (52). 

They were travelling in a car from Tirumala to Nellore and the car hit a tree at Gurraputhota in Pellakur mandal in the early hours on Saturday. 

Police registered a case and the bodies were shifted to Naidupet for post-mortem.
