Journalists cricket tourney inaugurated

Vijayawada: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Selection Committee chairman MSK Prasad, Ministers Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and Kalva Srinivasulu inaugurated the Amaravati Cup-2018 State-Level Journalists Cricket Tournament at Mulapadu stadium here on Friday.
On this occasion, they said that the tournament would give mental relief to journalists. They also congratulated them for organising the event.
The ministers said that the government was giving all possible support to journalists for their welfare.
MLC Budda Venkanna, TDP leaders Devineni Avinash, Bandaru Hanumantha Rao and several officials were also present.
The journalists from various districts attended to participate in the tournament.
