CM Cup Basketball Championship winners felicitated

Vijayawada: Sports Authority of AP (SAAP) chairman P Ankamma Chowdary here on Thursday felicitated the Krishna District Under – 19 girls team which won the CM Cup Basketball Championship held at Narayanapuram in West Godavari district from November 10 to 12.

The SAAP chairman appreciated all the sportspersons and told to perform well in the upcoming championships. The winning team members K Sivanagamani, M Gayatri, PVLS Mounika, PM Prgathi, K Vikyathi, V Swathika (Narayana College), I Puja (Bavishya College), Sandhya Reddy (Sri Saradha College Nugeveedu), B Geetha Vennela (Layola College), B Komali (KBN College), B Sailaja (DAR College Nujeveedu) were felicitated on the occasion. Among the team two players K Sivnagamani and V Swathika were selected for U-19 SGF Nationals. 

He also honoured the Athletic Championship winners of AP Chief Minister Cup on the occasion. Krishna District Boys and Girls teams won the all round athletic championship. 

The members of the teams are M Anusha – Long Jump, Triple Jump – Gold medal (SDSM), P Lokeswaramma – 100 mtrs hurdles – Gold medal (SDSM),  T Padma Pranitha –High jump – Gold medal (SDSM),  NR Apoorva – Shot Put – Gold medal (SDSM), V Vijay – Javelin Through – Gold medal (Andhra Layola), V Vishnu – 400 Mtrs – Gold (Siddartha Arts College) ,  B Bharath – Javelin Throw – Silver medal (Andhra Layola),  B Sairam Kumar –Shot put –Silver medal (Andhra Layola), GNVSS Mounica –4X100 Relay – Silver (SDSM).
