RMC pats banks for giving loans to SHGs

 Rajamahendravaram: Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai has said that the municipal corporation will recognize the services of banks which extended financial assistance to Self-help groups in the city.

Participating in Adarana-2 implement distribution programme held at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Thursday, she said Andhra Bank DCCB  branch had given loans as per the target fixed by the government.

RMC Commissioner Sumit Kumar said the banks were helping the corporation by opening accounts to housing scheme beneficiaries and Self-help group members and releasing their share relating to loans.

Later, the mayor felicitated State Bank of India senior manager AVS Krishna Murthi and DCCB manager D Kasi Visweswara Rao.
