GO issued promoting 2,585 constables

Vijayawada: The Home Department of Andhra Pradesh has issued GO MS No.202 promoting 2,585 constables as head constables and 585 head constables as assistant sub-inspectors. Principal Secretary of the Home department AR Anuradha on Friday issued orders in this regard.

The State government has taken the decision following a long-pending demand of the constables working in various districts across the State. In the order, Anuradha mentioned that the DGP shall take necessary action in the matter.
