Samaram gets Red Cross award at Visakhapatnam

Vijayawada: The Indian Red Cross Society State President and Governor ESL Narasimhanan presented honorary Red Cross Seva award to noted doctor and former national president of IMA Dr G Samaram at Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. 

The award was presented at the Andhra University Convocation centre.

He was honoured for his tireless service and creating awareness to the people on blood donation for the past two decades.  

A few IAS officers, district Collectors, Joint Collectors, Revenue Officials, Medical and Health officials, students, donors and Non-Government Organisations were also given the Seva award for the year 2017-18 on the occasion.
