Nellore gets award in BBBP programme

Nellore: Director of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ashok Kumar Yadav informed a district official that they had selected Nellore district as an exemplary district for implementing the programme in the district and invited District Collector R Mutyala Raju for a felicitation in Delhi by the Ministry at Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra on January 24 in connection with the National Girl Child Day. 

He stated in a communication that the theme of the year is ‘Empowering Girls for a Better Tomorrow’ and the district had showed exemplary performance.
