Sankranti Sambaralu reflect culture

 Eluru: Sankranti Sambaralu were organized in a gaudy manner at stadium here on Saturday. Essay-writing and other competitions were held for students. 

Artistes from across the district took part in  the celebrations and exhibited their talent. The events ranged from campfire of Bhogi to Rangolis by women. 

The Collector, K Bhaskar, Mayor Noorjahan Pedababu, MP M Babu and others actively took part in the celebrations. 

They rode a bullock-cart which attracted the audience. A large number of people were present.
