Police seize mysterious box in Vijayawada

 Vijayawada: Task Force police on Monday seized a mysterious box which is suspected to be carrying radioactive materials.

Since the box is emanating radiation police preserved the box and informed the specialists to verify the contents of the box. 

The persons accompanying the box told the police that it contains uranium. However it’s suspected that it might be iridium. 
The accused told the police that they bought the box in Chennai for Rs 5 lakh.
