National Girl Child Day organised at Aditya Educational Institutions

  Kakinada: National Girl Child Day was organised at Aditya Educational Institutions  here on Thursday.

Rich tributes were paid to the first woman Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi on the occasion and representatives of women empowerment wing garlanded her portrait.

Speaking on the occasion, academic coordinator of the instructions BEVL Naidu said that they had been observing National Girl Child Day on January 24, the day on which former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi assumed office.

AP Kishore Vikasa resource person NV Padmavati and Aditya Institutions  women empowerment wing chairperson K Bhanu Rekha also spoke on the significance of the day.
