10K walk flagged off in Guntur

Guntur: Film actor Pinisetty Aadhi flagged off the Guntur 10K walk which started from Indian Springs School at Vidyanagar in Guntur on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the aim of conducting the walk was to explain the significance of brisk walking and its impact on health and added that he was happy to participate in the programme. 

MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad said that the aim of the conducting the event was to create awareness on necessity of walking in maintaining good  health.

The 10K walk passed through Lodge Cenre, Shankar Vilas, Hindu College, Kannavarithota, Collectorate,  Pattabhipuram and reached to Indian Springs. 

Later, Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu gave prizes to the winners.
