Sarvasiksha Abhiyan tableau bags prize

Eluru: The tableau belonging to Sarvasiksha Abhiyan won the first prize at Republic Day celebrations held here on Saturday.

Various schemes implemented by the government have been exhibited by tableaux arranged at police parade grounds. While the tableau of the Fisheries Department secured the second prize, the Rural Water Supply department bagged the third prize.

The Collector  Praveen Kumar handed over mementos to Brahmananda Reddy, Anjali and Amareswara Rao, who respectively were heading the three departments.

Tableaux of RTC, agriculture, horticulture, civil supplies, transport, medical and health, water resources, tribal development, DRDA, BC Corporation, SC Corporation, Woman and child welfare, 108, labour, social welfare  and other departments were exhibited on the occasion.
