Regional Agricultural Research Station scientist bags Soil Conservation Award

Tirupati: Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) principal scientist Dr MV Raman has received Indian Soil Conservation Leadership Award 2018 from Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit at a national conference held in Ooty on Thursday.

As a principal scientist and associate dean Raman had guided more than 23 students for selecting JRF fellowship and other research projects. For his commendable service in agricultural soil conservation, this award was given by the conference organisers. On this occasion, RARS associate director DR P Rajasekhar and other staff congratulated the Raman.
