SP Vikrant Patil opens Complaint & Suggestion box

Chittoor: District Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Patil has inaugurated a Complaint & Suggestion (C&S) Box at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology (SVCET) here on Wednesday.

It is a novel scheme introduced by the Chittoor police. Around 600 C&S boxes will be set up at educational institutions and public places in the city. The move was aimed at curbing eve teasing and ragging in schools and colleges and anti-social activities in public places.

He called upon the women and girl students to drop their grievances and suggestions in C&S boxes. Additional SPs E Supraja, Krishnarjuna Rao and other police officials were present.
