Andhra Pradesh: IAS officer to spent just Rs 36,000 for son's wedding

An IAS officer Patnala Basanth Kumar, who is currently working as Commissioner for Vishakapatnam Metro Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is just spending Rs 36,000 for his son's wedding. It is learned that both the families of the bride and bridegroom will bear the expenditure of Rs 18,000 each for the wedding. 

The wedding will be held on behalf of Sathsang in Dayal Nagar in Vishakapatnam on February 10. Governor ESL Narasimhan will be attending the wedding to bless the couple. Kumar also grabbed headlines earlier by performing his daughter's wedding with Rs 16,100.
