Vote wisely to elect good leader: Collector MD Imtiaz

Vijayawada: Collector MD Imtiaz said that all the voters should utilise their voting right and cast their vote to the right person wisely and elect their leader.

As part of the SVEEP programme, the Collector on Thursday organised a virtual videoconference at SRR and CVR Degree College and sensitised the voters on casting their votes.

A pledge was taken by all the people who participated in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that youth who attained the age of 18 years should register their votes and must cast their vote. 

Voting is the right given by the Constitution of India to the Indian citizens and everyone should feel the responsibility to cast their vote. 

He said that for a better society, state and country the people should elect a good leader by casting their vote. The youth should take active participation in voting a good leader for the development of the nation.

He said that people who don’t cast their votes do not have the right to question. 

One should respect democracy by casting their valuable vote and elect a good leader, said the Collector.
