Lifetime achievement award for BVR Mohan Reddy

Hyderabad: Founder and Executive Chairman, Cyient, BVR Mohan Reddy, received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 26th edition of the Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) Annual Industry Awards 2018. He received the award from the Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, who was the chief guest at the event. 

Mohan Reddy is the inaugural recipient of the award and has been felicitated for his numerous contributions to the industry over the last three decades. Cyient was also conferred with the Top IT/ ITES Exporter Award in the Rs 1,000 crore export category. Krishna Bodanapu, Managing Director & CEO, Cyient, received this award on behalf of the company.

On receiving the award, Mohan Reddy said, “I am honoured to receive this prestigious award from HYSEA. Over the past three decades, HYSEA has played a key role in fostering the IT and ITES industry, and I am delighted to have contributed to this growth. But what got us here will not get us to the future. 

The industry is entering a phase of great transformation brought about by rapid advancements in technology and is at a tipping point of unprecedented growth. To grab this opportunity and fuel the transformation, our industry should become a hub for innovation, talent, and entrepreneurship.”
