Sharing her take on her recent blockbuster ‘96’, she said “I was quite intrigued by the script when I heard it for the first time. The other factor that really drew me to this film was the opportunity to work with Vijay Sethupathi. Despite being a love story, love was underplayed in the film. We don’t say it to each other, but it still gets conveyed and the film minted money at the box office. I received a lot of appreciation,” she informs.

Trisha has been a popular actress in T-town with films with stars like Chiranjeevi (Stalin), Venkatesh (‘Aadavari Matalaku....’) Nagarjuna (‘’King), Mahesh Babu (‘Sainikudu’) and Jr NTR (‘Dammu’) to carve a niche for herself. Of late, she has hasn’t been among hits in Telugu after a dud like ‘Mohini’.
