Sai Dharam, Chandoo to team up?

Mega family hero Sai Dharam Tej is planning to team up with young director Chandoo Mondeti for an action-centric entertainer this year. “Sai Dharam Tej is impressed with the storyline narrated by Chandoo Mondeti and suggested a few inputs to make the script more engrossing and gripping,” says a source, close to the family. A big production house is set to bankroll the project. The ‘Supreme’ star who is going through a lean trot after duds like ‘Intelligent’ and ‘Tej I Love You’ is looking to do a different kind of movie with Chandoo who made movies like ‘Karthikeya’ and ‘Premam’. “Actually, Chandoo weaved an exciting script that’s kind of a thriller as he wants to make a path-breaking movie with action star Sai Dharam Tej,” the source adds. The proposed film will show ‘Rey’ actor in a new avatar to re-define his dancing star image. Whereas, for director Chandoo Mondeti who worked with lover boys like Naga Chaitanya and Nikhil, it will be a challenge to helm a hero from mega family since he has to cater to a huge fan following.
