The Saudi employer is not providing adequate food to her and is allegedly beating up, torturing and abusing my wife. They made her to stay in a hut. For last fifteen days my wife is speaking to me over phone and she is crying and asking us to rescue her. She left to Saudi on 13 June last year  as she was offered a hospital job but after going there they made her to work as house maid.

She wants to come back to Hyderabad; it’s a humble request to MEA Sushma Swaraj and Telangana government to rescue my wife’, Zaffer said.Due to illiteracy and poverty, people from the old city are attracted to these types of jobs. The agents give them a rosy picture and  they are sent to Gulf countries. Here on the other side women are being sold to the Sheikhs for money.

If the victims want to come back home then he or she has to pay lakhs of rupees. As the local police does not take any action, they would be kept in a rescue room.  Till the Indian embassy approaches the local authorities. It is said more than 100 are still stuck in the Gulf awaiting the intervention of the country’s authorities.
