Ushasmullapudi-Yellammabanda road works on anvil

 Shapurnagar: At a meeting with the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Ltd (HRDCL) engineers on Wednesday, MLA Arikepudi Gandhi called for immediate efforts to develop the Ushasmullapudi-Yellammabanda Road, which is in a poor shape. He said it  was necessary to meet the future needs in view of the increasing traffic. He wanted the estimates to be prepared  and the work taken up.

The MLA stated that there was a need for putting up a culvert on the Miyapur-Bachupalli road to facilitate the flow of rain water. He called for repairs to the road, as water stagnation was blocking traffic. HRDCL Executive Engineer Sardar Singh, DE Sitaram informed the meeting that the works suggested by the MLA, which have already been approved by minister KTR during the recent Assembly session, would be taken up soon. 

Gandhi wanted the pipeline expansion work to be completed expeditiously in the context of taking up the road work, with HMDCL and HMWSSB working in coordination. Among those present were GHMC  Engineer  Venkateshwarlu, HMWSSB CGM (projects) P Venkateshwarlu, GM Sridhar, Manager Venkateshwar Rao.
