Parking of pvt buses cause hardship

Update: 2018-05-07 04:05 IST

Petbashirabad:  The ‘indiscriminate’ parking of buses at Suchitra Circle in the Qutbullapur area of a prominent travel firm is causing hardships to local residents. The service road adjacent to the National Highway 44 is being used to park buses on either side. The firm’s office is located on the service road. Since it owns hundreds of vehicles it is parking 30 per cent of them on the road, in violation of norms.

The traffic regulation authorities are blind to this in return for monitory consideration, allege residents of several apartments.  They told The Hans India that,   with the road blocked, there is more scope for accidents. The authorities are doing nothing barring placing no parking board at the spot and warning of Rs.1,000 fine if vehicles are parked within 100 metres of the circle.

The firm’s management does not seem to be worried about the rules. This is evident from the buses being parked near the board. This gives scope for doubts among the residents, who have to be content with huge parking woes at a nearby shopping mall.
