Weights Dept penalises vendors at Kushaiguda

Kapra: Officers of Medchal district Weights and Measures department conducted a surprise check at Kushaiguda vegetable market on Tuesday. They imposed penalty on six vendors for doing illegal business. 

The sleuths also conducted raid on Sri Chamunda traders rice shop at Chikripuram junction. They found two to three kgs less rice in 25 Kg bags. Officer Karunakar Reddy said that the shop owners stored hundreds of rice bags.
