4 gamblers arrested, `13k seized

Siddipet: Acting on a tip-off, Siddipet II-town police station ASI Anjaneyulu with his staff raided on a gambling spot on the outskirts of Lingareddipaly village near Siddipet on Thursday evening and arrested 4 persons. 

The police seized Rs. 13,180 of cash from the gamblers who were identified as Gangapur Shekhar (30), Pantham Srinivas (36), Kotagiri Prashramulu (24) and Vanga Prabhkar (28), all belong to Lingareddipally village. The ASI said the details of the informers, who let the police know about the whereabouts of illegal and antisocial activities and persons, will be kept secret.
