Journalists meet on May 15

Somajiguda: Seeking a permanent solution to the house- sites problem, Journalists Housing Co-ordination Committee on Thursday decided to conduct a round table conference with senior journalists, editors and representatives of various journalist unions at Press Club here on May 15. 

The committee meeting presided by its convener R Dilip Reddy lamented the government’s inaction in solving the problem. It said though the issue was brought to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Minister K T Rama Rao many times nothing yielded.

The meeting also decided to submit memorandums to Governor and Chief Secretary on May 18, 19 respectively. Co-ordination Committee co-conveners Venkatachari, Rajamouli, co-ordinators S Vijay Kumar Reddy, MS Hashmi, media co-ordinator Mamidi Somaiah, members Venugopl and Ajitha took part.
