Malampet residents seek Mission Bhagiratha water

Dundigal: As the Telangana state government’s prestigious Mission Bhagiratha is being implemented, the locals of Malampet on Sunday gave a representation to MLC Shambipur seeking the benefits of the water scheme. The locals brought to his notice the water crisis the areas face during summer time. 

Suffering with dearth of drinking water, the members of KVR valley owner’s welfare association of Malampet urged Shambipur to ensure the locals receive the benefits of Mission Bhagiratha Scheme. They asked him to immediately direct the officials to lay pipelines for supply of drinking water. Along with the locals, Tirupati Reddy, colony president, Sriram, vice president and others were present.
