Permanent solution to sewerage overflow sought

Lakdi Ka Pul: Overflowing sewerage is a cause of concern for the merchants near the commercial lane of Lakdi Ka Pul Railway station. Srinivas a tea stall owner said the sewerage had been flowing since past two days because of choking and there was barely any response from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). 

He said a complaint was filed recently and they had cleaned the manhole which reduced the water level for some time but later the the overflowing again begins. There has to be a permanent solution for this issue as it poses health risks to the people here, he said, adding that it was also affecting our business as the customers avoid walking on the sewerage overflowing lane.
