Shanthi launches BT road works at Nacharam chowrasta

 Nacharam: The Nacharam Chowrasta to Babanagar Cross Road inauguration has finally happened. Corporator Shanthi Saizen Shekar inaugurated the BT road from Nacharam Chowrasta to Babanagar Cross Road.

The road works are being taken up at a cost of Rs 1.54 crore in various colonies. The residents have been complaining about the bad condition of roads in the area and also about a few roads that were only on paper.

Rakesh Mahapatra, a retired railway employee says, “I have been living in this area for two decades and have seen several corporators come and go. I only hope that the works promised this time around will come to fruitition.”

On this occasion, Babanagar residents felicitated the corporator with shawl. Local leaders Prakash, Bhadraiah, Hafeez, Katta Bachanna Goud were present.
