Action sought against engg colleges collecting high fees

Osmania University: Demanding cancellation of recognition to the Engineering Colleges who are collecting high fees, leaders of AISF staged a dharna at vice chancellor’s office on Wednesday.

AISF state secretary R N Shankar alleged that Engineering Colleges affiliated to Osmania University were collecting high fees and rejecting admission to the meritorious students who scored high ranks in Eamcet and JEE.

Later, the agitators submitted a memorandum to the vice chancellor Prof Ramachandram. Shankar said that the vice chancellor responded positively to their demand.
