Shadi Mubarak cheques distributed to 52 Muslim families: Minister T Padma Rao

Secunderabad: Excise and Prohibition Minister T Padma Rao Goud on Thursday asserted that the TRS government was striving and committed for the welfare of the minorities.

Speaking after handing over ‘Shadi Mubarak’ cheques of Rs 39 lakh to 52 poor Muslims in his office, he said the assistance was being given in view of the Ramzan festival. Among those present were Corporators Samala Hema, Alakunta Saraswati, Bhargavi, Vijayakumari, MROs Shailaja, Suguna, several prominent persons.
