TRS govt accused of failing to provide basic amenities in Tandas

​Tandur:  Senior Congress leader from Tandur Assembly constituency Dr Sampat accused the TRS government of failing to provide basic amenities to the people and pointed out that the people in tribal thandas were reeling under acute drinking water crisis. 

He was speaking in connection with sinking a borewell in Omla Naik Thanda and Urinti Thanda in Peddemul mandal spending from his pocket. He got pump sets fixed to them with his funds. He commenced the bore wells. 

Speaking after switching off the pump sets marking commencement of the bore wells, he said contrary to the tall claims made by the rulers there are no basic amenities available to the people, especially the tribal, at the field level. 

He said that he spent Rs 1.5 lakh to provide drinking water amenities in three villages. Former chairman of the DCCB Lakshma Reddy, TPCC minority cell convener Riyaz and others took part in the programme.
