Kavya monitors pipeline repair

Balaji Nagar: Corporator Pannala Kavya Reddy on Monday handled a herculean task related to drinking water supply to LIGs near temple bus stop of KPHB Colony. Finally she engaged the workers in repair work. Going in to the details, local residents complained to Kavya that they were not getting drinking water for the last four days. 

She went to the LIGs and came to know that there was a leakage problem. When she called the water board worker, he said that new pipe line was the remedy for the problem as the present pipeline was dummied due to leakage. Kavya called Water Board project director Sridhar and contractor Shankar Rao. They personally inspected the problem and assured the restoration of water supply on Tuesday. Under her supervision workers started repair work.
