Collector visits Kanti Velugu camp at Sangupalli

Gajwel:  Siddipet district Collector asked medical officers of the Kanti Velugu programme to scan the patients as part of the mega eye camp without causing any inconvenience to them. He visited the medical camp at Sangupalli in Gajwel mandal Siddipet district on Thursday. 

He enquired from the staff the nature of treatment being extended to the patients. Describing the programme as prestigious, he asked the medical camp personnel to distribute eye-glasses free of cost to the needy. Siddipet received 90,000 eye-glasses under the programme, he said adding that 200 pairs of glasses wouldbe distributed in each village among the patients. Gajwel municipal chairman Bhaskar, medical officer Kasinad and others took part.
