Man kills daughter, mom-in-law

Suryapet/Yadadri: In a gruesome incident, a father killed his 13-month-old daughter by feeding her milk-laced with rat poison before slitting the throat of his mother-in-law with a knife. The incident took place in Tammaram village of Chintalapalem mandal in Suryapet on Tuesday.

The accused Narsimha Rao  killed his daughter, Navyasree and mother-in-law, Lakshmi owing to family disputes. In another incident at Thangadapally of Choutuppal in Yadadri, villagers beaten up an old man Chitrala Malaiah and his grandson,Suresh accusing them of sorcery. After receiving information, police rushed to the village and brought the situation under control besides taking the duo into custody.
