Spiritual programme held in Khammam

Khammam: To develop spirituality among people, ‘Ashta Lakshmi Viabhava Deepika’ programme was organised in the city, said organiser of the programme Bijjala Durga here on Tuesday.

As many as 70 members dressed in traditional attire- ‘Ekavarna Sampradaya Vastradharana’ singing Govinda Namasmaranam took out a procession in the early hours across the streets of Gandhinagar of Khammam city.

Later, they offered prayers at Vijaya Ganapathi Temple seeking the blessings for good health and prosperity for all. Organisers of the programme Kodumuri Madhavi, H Lalitha, Kotamraju Kumudini, Anumula Rani, Pasumarthi Padmaja and Kodamasimham Bharadwaj were present along with others.
