Women protest with empty pots

 Choutuppal: Villagers of Thangadapally under Choutuppal mandal on Thursday staged a protest demonstration in front of the Gram Panchayath office with empty pots and disrupted traffic to highlight water scarcity.

Sarpanch Dayakara Chary, while expressing his concern over the official apathy, said the pipelines in the village suffered damage due to mission Bagiratha works.  

Officials concerned assured protesters that they would set right the things at the earliest. In the programme, villagers Chiranjeevi, Edaiah, Samid, Mogilaiah , Nagaraju, Suresh, Mahesh and a large number of village  women participated.
