CPI stages demonstration at Nalgonda District Collectorate

Nalgonda: Communist Party of India (CPI) Nalgonda district unit Secretary Palla Narsimha Reddy on Thursday demanded that the government complete all the pending irrigation projects by allocating sufficient funds.

The CPI activists staged a sit-in in front of the District Collectorate to highlight its demand for allocation of sufficient funds for irrigation projects. Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Narasimha Reddy demanded that the government complete the SLBC, Dindi and Brahmmana Vellemla projects to ensure that there is no fluoride menace in the district and also to provide irrigation to drought prone areas of the district.

He also demanded that the government pay attention tocanalalignment from Narlapur to Ulpara. He emphasised the need to complete the Dharamareddy and Pillaipalli Kalva works and demanded that the government pay compensation to ousteesfour times the market value.

In this program party leaders Nellikanti Satyam, Palla Devender Reddy , Ujjini Naryana Rao , Kanthaiah, Veera swamy and a large number of party workers participated.
