Thousands witness Teppotsavam in Bhadrachalam

​Bhadrachalam:  As part of the Sri Rama Navami Celebrations, the priests conducted the Teppothsavam programme here on Thursday.  

The deities were decorated with colorful flowers and clothes by the priests.  In the evening the deities were taken from the main temple amid of chanting mantras and placed on the boat. 

Teppothsavam was conducted in the river Godavari.  The boat was adorned with lighting.The event was conducted during the celebrations of the main events. 

The vasanthosavam programme would be conducted on Friday said the temple Executive Officer K Prabhakar Srinivas.   A large number of devotees thronged the venue to witness the event.
