Govt committed to provide connectivity in rural areas

Yadagirigutta: Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha here on Wednesday stated that the State government has been paying special attention to provide infrastructure to all villages in an effort to improve connectivity.

She laid foundation stone for the construction of BT road from Chinna Musaipet to Saduvelli village under Yadagirigutta mandal at an estimated cost Rs 1.25 crores.

Speaking on this occasion, the Government Whip described the State government as people-friendly.  Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, she said, has been giving top priority to farmers’ welfare and make the agriculture profitable. 

In this connection, the government is providing round-the-clock power to the farming sector. The government has also launched input subsidy scheme under which each farmers would be giver Rs 8,000 per acre per year under Rythu Bandu Scheme. 

Irrigation facility was provided to the farmers of Aler constituency by filling Gandhamalla ,Basvapur reservoirs under Kaleshwaram project , she said. Drinking water to every household in Aler constituency would be provided under Mission Bagiratha Scheme at the earliest.  

She also listed out the various government schemes, development activities and milestones were achieved by the State government in the last four years.    

TRS farmers wing State general Secretary G Mahender Reddy, MPP G Swapna, ZPTC Kamalamma, Sarpanches Ellubai, Gowthami, Srinivas Goud, MPTCs Bagyamma , Krishna, local TRS leader and R&B officials participated.
