Nalgonda to get Rs 100 crore for beautification

​Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao on Monday assured to provide Rs 100 crore to Nalgonda town.

A review meeting was held on the town which was attended by Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Nalgonda in-charge K Bhoopal Reddy and others. 

The MA&UD Minister asked the district Minister Jagadish Reddy to have special focus on the development of Nalgonda district. 

He said the government was ready to provide funds for the beautification of the Nalgonda town and as part of that Rs 100 crore had been sanctioned. He said that GO 51 would be amended and funds would be released. 

The Minister asked the officials to take up works like modernisation of parks, construction of mini-tank bunds, crematorium and others.
