Centre trying to dilute SC, ST Act: MRPS

Yadagirigutta: MRPS founder President Manda Krishna Madiga here on Wednesdaycriticised the Central government for trying to “dilute the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He expressed his opposition to the Supreme Court judgement that there would be no automatic arrest under the Act. 

The Mala Mahanadu national president Chennaiah, Lamabadi Hakkula Porata Samithi national president Bellaiah Naik and Krishna Madiga participated in preparatory meeting of Dalita, Girijana Simha Garjana held at Yadadagiri Gutta.

Leaders of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes organisations said “We have to keep our differences aside and fight for categorisation of Scheduled Castes” Speakers said the Dalitha, Girijana Simha Garjana would be held in Warangal on May 27. They appealed to the people to make the meeting a success. 
 
Telangana Mala Mahanadu State president Addanki Dayakar, LHPS women wing State president Laxmi also spoke In the programme, leaders of MRPS, LHPS and Mala Mahanadu Manda Shankar, Manchu Ashok, K.Somaiah, Chandra Swamy, Kishan,  Chintu, Karunakar, Srinu, Anajaneyulu, Prem, Babu and others participated.
