Heavy rain brings relief from scorching heat in Bhadrachalam

​Bhadrachalam:  Heavy rains acoompanied by  thunderstorm lasthe the temple town, bringing relief from  heat, on Wednesday..

In a short the the main roads of the town were flooded with rainwater. In the temple area, all the drains were overflowing  and water-logging was seen on the temple roads. 

According to sources,  rainwater seeped into the  shops which are located in the temple area. The rainwater also entered the front part of the Nithya Anna Dhana Satram creating problem to devotees who had gathered here for the darshan of Lord Rama.

However,  people of the temple town are happy as the rain gave relief from the stifling heat. The weather changed suddenly with cool air in the evening time.   No loss of the life or property was reported.
