Tank brings relief in Khammam for villagers dealing with summer drought

The Mission Kakatiya programme undertaken by the Telangana government, in the restoration of irrigation tanks is benefiting the Edulla village, Tirumalayapalem Mandal in Khammam district.

The villagers are deriving benefits of a tank in the village through the drought this summer. 

Filled with water from Bhakta Ramadasu lift irrigation project, the tank is garnering a lot of appreciation from the villagers who expressed their happiness to see the village tank full with water even during the scorching days of summer. 

Even the officials are satisfied over the progress of work.
