Women pray at Durga temple for Chandrababu

Vijayawada: A large number of women leaders from the TDP, led by MUllapudi Renuka, performed special poojas atop Indrakeeladri praying for the success of Chandrababu’s fast. They were welcomed into the temple by Kanakadurga temple EO Padma and temple committee chairperson.

Speaking on the occasion, Renuka said the womenfolk were united in their support ot Chandrababu Naidu, who is fighting for the special status to Andhra Pradesh.

It may be recalled that Chandrababu will do a fast on Friday from 7 AM till 7 PM in the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in support of the demand for special category status.a
