Woman caught on camera stealing gold ornaments in Charminar

A woman was arrested for stealing gold ornaments on Tuesday in Charminar. The woman, identified as Ayesha Siddiqa alias Sravanthi is learned to be a repeat offender had committed the offence in the month of February this year.

As per the CCTV visuals, the woman, a housewife was caught on camera stealing the ornaments by diverting the attention of a shop owner. 

Police seized 40 tolas of gold from her residence. According to the police, Ayesha has a habit of leading a lavish life and used to commit similar offences without the knowledge of her husband. She was even arrested in the past for stealing a laptop from the premises of a college in Dilsukhnagar.
