YSRCP leader ends life

A YSRCP leader has committed suicide by hanging due to harassment by the police. According to the police, 26-yearold Srikanth was a YSRCP leader in Tangedupalli village in Vempalle mandal.

Two days ago, the YSRCP and TDP workers had a heated argument and physical clash over a land dispute. He has been booked as an accused in the case. Ever since, he is on the run. His brother was thrashed by the police recently.

Afraid that he too could be beaten, he committed suicide by hanging.
