Hyderabad: Police to deploy tight security for India-West Indies test at Uppal Stadium

Hyderabad: The city police are making arrangements for the second test match between India and West Indies which is scheduled to held on October 12 at Uppal Stadium.

Addressing a press meet, Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh Bhagwat said that around 1500 police personnel will be deployed and 100 CCTV cameras will be installed covering the complete area of the stadium. The CP also said that the public is allowed to carry their mobile phones for their safety.

Bhagwat further said that laptops, cameras, power banks, lighters, helmets, perfumes, bags, water bottles and outside food items are not allowed inside the stadium.

He also said that they are arranging 16 parking places for four-wheelers and a place to park around 4900 two-wheelers at the venue.
