YSR Congress Assures Safety Of Fishermen Held In Pakistan

YSR Congress Party senior leader and MP Vijay Sai Reddy assured the families of fishermen, who were arrested by Pakistan authorities, that efforts will made to bring back them from the neighbouring country.  

Pakistan Coast Guard arrested 22 fishermen and they are languishing in Karachi jail.  The victim families called on Vijay Sai Reddy and requested for the release of their arrested kin and kith. 

The YSR Congress leader said that he will arrange a meeting with Foreign Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj if the victims are not released. He alleged that the union government is not taking the issue a serious.
