Bus overturns in Chittoor, 1 killed

A bus carrying 41 Ayyappa devotees overturned at Madanapalle by-pass road in Chittoor district today morning leaving one person dead on the spot. The devotees in the bus went to Sabarimala on December 25 and were returning to Chittoor when the accident took place. The deceased was identified as Tirupal Reddy (45).

On the other hand, Chandra, Lavanyamma, Ramunujulamma, Salemma who were grievously injured are shifted to a private hospital. The victims' condition is stated to be critical.
