Police seize bike used by chain snatchers

 In the latest development, the Rachakonda police on Friday seized a sports bike used by the chain snatchers for committing the crime. 

The rented sports KTM bike was recovered in Bhavani Nagar, Old city where the miscreants abandoned it in the bushes before fleeing. The police detained the owner of the bike who said that he had sold the vehicle two years ago.

Around 11 chain snatching cases reported in a day posing a major challenge to the city police. The police are investigating the case based on the CCTV footage installed in the areas.
